Why Magic of Change Story Teller Competition ?

Magic of Change comes with the legacy of one of Asia's top story tellers - Mohd Rafi. And it is not just the attractive prize money on offer. A plethora of gifts awaits each one of you.
*   The First Prize Winner gets to co-facilitate a story telling competition with Mohd. Rafi in one of his story telling workshops.
*   Top 3 winners will get a cash prize of:
                • First prize – Rs. 25,000/-  
                • Second prize – Rs. 15,000/
                • Third prize – Rs. 5,000/-
*   Top 10 story tellers will get 3 free coaching sessions with senior therapist/trainers at Magic of Change worth over INR 15000                            each
*   All participants will get a 15% discount on all Magic of Change programs for 6 months.
*   Corporates, Colleges and Schools, with a minimum of 20 participants, will get a free session for its employees, teachers and                             students respectively, with a Senior Trainer and Coach at Magic of Change,  worth Rs. 50,000.
*   All participants will get certificate of participation. 

ELIGIBILITY 

This competition is open to storytellers of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Whether you're an aspiring writer, a seasoned storyteller, or just someone with a tale waiting to be told, this platform welcomes you with open arms.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Please register with Magic of Change by clicking on the "Click here to Register" below.
2. Record a video of your story, upload it on the link you will receive in your Welcome email, and let your words embark on a journey of enchantment.

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. The length of the video should be maximum of 90 seconds and less than 200 MB in size.
2. The video should have clear sound and it should be close enough for your emotions & expressions to be visible.
3. The story should be narrated in English only.
4. The competition will be over 2 rounds.
5. The last date for submission of videos for the first round of competition will be 20th May 2024.
6. Polling for first round will close on 25th May 2024
7. The results of the first round will be informed by 31st May 2024
8. The second round of competition will be theme based.
9. The selected contestants from the first round will be intimated of their selection along with the theme for the second round, and they will have to submit their second entry by 15th June 2024
10. Polling for second round will close on 20th June 2024 The Winners will be declared on 25th June 2024.
11. Magic of Change reserves the right to use all participating stories in any form - digital or otherwise.

JUDGING CRITERIA

1. The winners will be judged based on a public poll and the decision of an expert jury.
2. Your entry will be judged by jury on following key parameters - Narrative Structure, Energy, Tonality, Connect with audience, Screen presence, Emotional Impact, Clarity of theme, Creativity, Originality and Style.

First prize - Rs. 25,000/-
